The tower is 15th century and an inventory records that there were 5 bells in 1550, which were subsequently increased to 6. After the re-building of the church in 1836 a further two bells were added. The church was again re-built and refurbished after a fire in 1973. The 8 bells survived and were re-cast and re-hung during 1982-83.
