Christ Church recently celebrated its 125th Anniversary. The bells are slightly younger, being installed in 1884. After a long period of non-ringing, a local band has been active since 1994. The bells were renovated in 1999 with the aid of grants from the Millennium Commission and the Surrey Association Belfry Repair Fund.
