The Nave and Chancel of the church are ‘ancient’, with Norman arched doorways and their ‘Dog Tooth moulding’ of particular note. The bells were re-hung in a modern frame by the Whitechapel Foundry in 1951, and are an ‘easy ring’. Outside the church a Yew tree, on the left of the lych gate, was inspected in 1993 and identified as being 1,700 years old.
